Second class was rough. We did 3 different types of squats, which would be fine except they seems to be harder on my arms than my legs. Then we did burpies which are essentially stand up, drop to the floor, do a push-up and then stand back up again. That was rough. Then we did wall balls where we hold a medicine ball, drop it like it's hot (do a squat) explode above the knees, and use that to propel the ball up to a 10 foot mark on a wall.
The workout at the end of class was do 100 wall balls as fast as possible. My time was in the 6 minute range.
Apparently we are back to more arm focused stuff tomorrow, which should prove to be painful.

Sick job today, you flew through those wall balls. Explode above the knees!
ReplyDeleteKeep stretching, man, that'll really help the pain from the lactic acid. And it really does get a lot better after only a few weeks.
