Preakness

I went to Preakness 2010 with my cousins Katie and Steven, Katie's boyfriend Dewey, and their roommate Dave.

We got infield tickets with access to the "mug club" where you get a mug with endless refills on beer. It was unclear at certain points whether they were running out of beer or they were just trying to generally limit people's access so as to keep from having too many people end up excessively drunk.

I walked away the big winner having put $20 on Lookin At Lucky to win (which he did), and another $20 on the horse with the best name (First Dude) to show (he placed). Between the two bets my $40 became $160, holla!

Between cashing out on an investment venture with Robin, and being repaid a loan from some friends, I'm going to be able to pay off the rest of my car when I get my next paycheck. I think less than two and a half years to pay off beefy car loan like I have is pretty fuckin' good.

Next stop, house. Stop after that... BMW M3. Speaking of stopping, I think it's getting about time for new brakes and tires on my ride. Note to self, action item.
