So today I get home and see that I have a new friend request on Facebook. It was the girl that bought the additional 10 shots if you read the last post, and I quickly came to realize that she probably found me through the one War`Cry member I friended while at the LAN. He was sitting next to me and I've always liked him so we hit it up.
Then I see she's part of a War`Cry group on Facebook after going through her friends and finding other W`C people on her friends list. Then I see a post on the W`C forums about the Facebook group.
Within a couple of hours I acquired probably a dozen or more Facebook friends and watched this magic unfold as the community all started friending each other. It was amazing and I got all giddy and excited, and people were writing on my wall, and I was writing back, and it was like a small taste of the love you get at the LANs, which I think we've all been missing since we left.
