What's Andy Up To?

That is the name of the blog and that is the central question it is designed to answer.

When I moved and changed jobs recently I was really feeling the love as people were finding out and curious as to how it was going and the specific details of the job and the move.

First, I would like to thank everybody for their interest. I felt very touched. I don't normally think about just how many people I have out there that care about me, so I was completely blown away by the number of people I've communicated with recently about my big change. Some directly with phone calls, others indirectly through posting that note in Facebook and seeing the wall posts and comments I received back.

Second, I want to talk more about how I want to use this blog. I'm gonna make posts, hopefully at least once a week, maybe more if I decide to just get random thoughts or happenings out there. There will be a comments section for each post. If you have something to say, leave me a comment. If you want to be anonymous, at least leave some initials or something for me to have context for who you are. I'll respond to your comments. Hopefully they will organize themselves like a tree so that it's clear which comment responses are to. Put anything you want in the comments. If something I post reminds you of a story involving us, type it up and put it out there. I'm going to do my very best to inform everyone of the existence of this blog. Help me out by spreading the word yourself. While the title (at least for now) is "What's Andy Up To?" the address is simply howsAndy.blogspot.com
