Archery

Today Robin and I used the voucher he got for Christmas to go get an archery lesson.

We had fun, and did pretty well for beginners. Robin did a little better. Both of us did significantly better than the group we saw going before us. I think understanding physics, and the fact that to gain accuracy you must first develop a very tight consistency helped us both.

I think some people just don't under stand the math that causes even a small angle at your starting position able to throw the arrow off by a clearly noticeable amount even at 6 yards. They started us at 6 yards and by the end we had gotten good enough to put the targets at 15 yards.

I still need to do a lot of organizing of my stuff, and I think I'm gonna need more drawers to put it in, so I think I'm gonna work on that.
